About Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events
Rachel Lampen, Founder
British transplant, Rachel, arrived in New Canaan, CT in 2013. Having worked at American Express, London for 6-years, her clients included: Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay and Relais & Châteaux. With 25-years experience in hospitality PR, Marketing and Events she has a demonstrated history of written communications, strategy and social media.
In 2018 she co-founded Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events with close friend Kristen Mitrakis (Kristen has since retired). It helped many survive the covid months to follow and in 2022 she was thrilled to become an American Citizen. Annually she produces ‘Gates Battle of the Bands’, The ‘New Canaan Food Revolution’, and the ‘Taste of New Canaan Stroll’.
When Rachel is not working she is in the kitchen, entertaining or creating trivia questions.
